Taken from a postcard dated 1915, this shows the Forest Rock site as a pleasant green field behind a traditional stone wall. There is still plenty of greenery in the village. Also the village bakery can just be seen on the corner, with the Slaters Cottages on the left.
The Forest Rock pub is in the left foreground, with the school toilets in the right foreground.
