LF 005
Date unknown, but obviously later judging by the van parked at Squires Bakery on the left. Note the Hovis sign on the wall of what is now Oakwood Pharmacy. Also Mr. Stubbs tiny butchers shop alongside, and which is also now part of the pharmacy. No villagers are around except for a lady on the left. The shop door is closed, perhaps it is Sunday. The telegraph pole now has 13 bars - the telephone is rapidly catching on.
We have now added quite a few old photographs of the shop at the centre of our village. Please come back shortly as we hope to show you lots more photographs taken over the years. If you have any old photographs of Woodhouse Eaves you would like to add, just use the "Contact Us" link on the top right of the screen.
